Always Best Care South Bay originated in the home of Carrie and John Bianco in 2010. Carrie, whose mother was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease in 1995 and later died as a result of complications related to its progression, decided to drastically shift her career trajectory from executive recruitment to senior care and program development. In 2013, Carrie’s son, Dr. David Hart – a recognized specialist in dementia care – began to develop family support services, including support groups affiliated with the Alzheimer’s Association, and care management and health education departments. The addition of a clinical apparatus solidified the organization’s ability to connect with community members who require specialists in Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias.

Each year, ABC South Bay serves hundreds of seniors and their families through a triad of concierge services, including non-medical in-home care, assisted living finder services, and family support programs. The organization is committed to caring for patients with Alzheimer’s disease and their families but also assists individuals who have suffered from strokes, survived cancer, need assistance with transportation and errands, or folks who simply desire greater social connectivity – in other words, Always Best Care South Bay assists any older adult who wants to remain independent at home.
