Always Best Care Senior Services, featured by Entrepreneur magazine as the fastest growing franchise system in the Senior Care industry, announced today the election of Chris Ziegler, the company’s Area Representative for Virginia, Maryland and the District of Columbia, to the position of President of the Area Representatives’ Council.
Always Best Care provides non-medical in-home care, assisted living placement services and skilled home health care through an international network of more than 175 independently owned and operated franchises, including 30 Area Representatives.

The purpose of the Council is to provide a forum for open communication between Area Representatives, and as an advisory board between Area Representatives and Always Best Care.  The Council’s goal to encourage each Area Representative to become an important part of the company’s strategic planning process as the franchise system expands and develops. The Council also is responsible for bringing general franchisee concerns to the attention of Always Best Care corporate officers, and addressing and resolving those concerns.

In his role as Area Representative, Mr. Ziegler is responsible for locating people who are passionate about helping others through business ownership.  He utilizes his extensive experience starting and operating businesses to help them to be successful in their new role as Always Best Care franchisees.  To date, he has established five Always Best Care businesses in Virginia.
Prior to taking on this role, Mr. Ziegler was co-founder and President of Compass Energy Services, Inc.  He also co-founded two other companies, one of which has become a respected leader in the energy efficiency contracting field.  He previously served as General Manager of Evantage, Dominion Energy’s Energy Services division, and of Dominion Energy Direct Sales, Inc., its commercial and industrial commodity sales subsidiary.
Mr. Ziegler serves on numerous charitable boards, and also teaches skiing to individuals with disabilities each winter.  He earned a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy and Finance from Miami University, and a Master of Business Administration from Case Western Reserve University.
